The original plat with block and lot number is in black type on white background. The modern layer is in white type on gray background. The City of Houston Historic District boundary is shown as a thicker white line, capturing almost the entire original neighborhood. In addition to seeing how many of the current property configurations make use of partial or multiple original lots, this map clearly illustrates the impact of the 527 spur on the original plan of the neighborhood and in particular its orginally conceived intersection with the main city grid.
